Marketing Co-ordinator - Part Time 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic and creative small business, working on a part-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Management team, you will take on a key role of content creation for the website and social media platforms to attract new customers, develop and maintain loyalty customers to ensure repeat visitors.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc.

You should have experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry. A creative individual with the drive for continual improvement is a necessity.

This is a part-time position, with some flexibility on total working hours. Working hours will be weekdays only, within store opening hours.

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Taking a lead role in providing creative content for @Hamishmunro and its website brand SomethingForMe to attract new online customers and create repeat business through developing our current base of loyalty customers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Development and continual improvement of creative content for website and social media platforms, ensuring content is applicable for our key target market.
• Innovate and implement social media plans to expand our online social media presence. Track and report Social Media key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis.
• Monitor all social media posts, replies, comments etc. and provide responses that meet company expectations for best value and practice.
• An ability to write and optimise creative content for products and campaigns.
• Writing and distributing newsletter & blog content via digital channels.
• Assist with the implementation of an SEO strategy to increase website traffic and sales by continually improving SEO rankings.
• Design website banners and assist with web visuals.
• To ensure all content is kept up-to-date and accurate and meets all applicable laws (GDPR etc.).
• Supervise online chat function during working hours, liaising with relevant co-workers and management to ensure prompt and informative responses are provided to ensure sales are maximised.
• Preparation of various material relating to sale including PowerPoint Presentations, Website Promos etc.

The ideal candidate would possess the following experience and/or skills:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry. A relevant qualification is not required but would be advantageous.
• Skilled in using site analytics and market intelligence tools such as google analytics.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• An ability to use your own initiative and prioritise effectively to achieve workload and meet deadlines, being flexible when required.
• Interest in female fashion.
• Experience and skills with the following I.T programs: Photoshop, MailChimp (or equivalent software), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, WordPress.
• Strong English and Numeracy skills.
